Classical Ballet requires careful and precise training. Muscles need to be strong, yet supple.
Your body needs to be as strong as an Olympian, yet fundamentally you are an artist. Striving for perfection whilst battling against your own DNA, naturally this can be mentally and physically draining. Without enough support you may feel unable or unmotivated.
Private lessons at Woodside Dance Retreat will flip that on its head. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Making the choice to invest in yourself is the first step. Competition is great and private tuition will without doubt help increase your ability, thereby giving you the edge over your peers.
At Woodside Dance Retreat we offer 1 to 1 coaching for dancers with a passion to improve. This may be for audition preparation, exam coaching, teacher training or you may just have the desire to be better!
Private lessons will be taught by the principal of Woodside Dance Retreat, Nicola Moriarty. With 3 years training at the prestigious Royal Ballet School London, 5 years working as a professional classical dancer around the world and 15 years turning many students into professional dancers who are currently working around the globe, you will be in safe hands!
Pilates - Pilates is an extremely popular method of exercise. Dancers love it, as do women returning to fitness after child birth. It is such an adaptable system that it serves everyone from elite athletes, senior citizens and those who are returning to excercise in any stage of physical rehabilitation
The focus will be on your use of core muscles, your posture, toning, defining your body. You will learn to focus your mind so that you can perform the exercises at will, efficiently, gaining control over each muscle in your body.
After several sessions you will feel lighter, brighter, in more control, back pain may lessen and as your body changes of course you will feel more confident.
